In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ), by a count of 59-56.
The Falcons (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Sparta (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Sparta held off North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ), 57-46, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now hold a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Verona for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 16. Morris Hills will clash with a Hillbillies squad coming off a 57-53 non-league loss to Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ). The Hillbillies record now stands at 8-15.
