Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Benson (Benson, MN), 55-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yellow Medicine East upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Sting host Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN) to play the Panthers in a A Section 3 bout on Thursday, February 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton lost 71-32 in their recent non-league bout against Luverne (Luverne, MN)

Next up, the play the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Benson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
