The Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Leland Comets (Leland, MI), 47-22 in Wednesday's league test.
The Huskies (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Kingsley (Kingsley, MI). The Stags go into the Northwest test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Kingsley walloped Onekama (Onekama, MI), 63-32, in a league test.
The Comets now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Frankfort for a Northwest test on Friday, February 16. Leland will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 67-26 league win over Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 12-4.
