With the victory, Navajo Prep improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM) to confront the Bears in a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, February 16. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 7-16. Wingate lost 47-38 in their recent league challenge against Newcomb (Newcomb, NM)

Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Crownpoint Eagles (Crownpoint, NM) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 16. Zuni will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 70-41 league win over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM).
