The Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Potterville Vikings to 13 in the Pirates league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bath for a Central Michigan contest on Friday, February 16. Pewamo-Westphalia will meet a Fighting Bees team coming off a 46-24 league win over Dansville (Dansville, MI). The Fighting Bees record now stands at 14-3.

The Vikings (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Perry (Perry, MI). The Ramblers enter the Central Michigan contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Perry was routed by Fowler (Fowler, MI), 71-38, in a league contest.
