The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) and the host Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL), observed Cary-Grove's basketball team overcome Prairie Ridge by a margin of 59-49.

The Trojans (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against McHenry (McHenry, IL). The Warriors come into the Fox Valley challenge with a 23-6 record. In their last challenge, McHenry dropped by St. Patrick (Chicago, IL), 59-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves battle the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Prairie Ridge will attempt to better on its 10-19 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 12-16 record after their 39-34 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL).
