New York High School Basketball - Grand Island knocked off by Lockport

The Lockport Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Grand Island Vikings to 50 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pembroke for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Lockport will battle a Dragons team coming off a 71-56 league win over Oakfield-Alabama (Oakfield, NY). The Dragons record now stands at 13-1.
The Vikings (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Burgard (Buffalo, NY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Burgard was defeated by Olmsted (Buffalo, NY), 55-46, in a league contest.
