The McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI) basketball crushed the host Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI), 68-40 in Wednesday's league test.

The Ramblers (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Lake City (Lake City, MI). The Trojans go into the Highland test with a 19-1 record. In their last test, Lake City walloped Manton (Manton, MI), 49-22, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Gladwin for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 21. Houghton Lake will encounter a Flying G's squad coming off a 61-36 league win over Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Flying G's record now stands at 7-10.
