In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars basketball team scored a good 57-47 triumph over the Northgate Broncos.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 18. Newark Memorial will attempt to move on its 15-12 season record. The Mariners enter the match with a 18-8 record after their 74-45 non-league win over Antioch (Antioch, CA).
With the defeat, Northgate moves to 18-9 on the year.
