Illinois High School Basketball - Rockridge holds off Mercer County

February 15, 2025: Aledo, IL 61231

The Rockridge Rockets basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Mercer County Golden Eagles to 35 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rockets now possess a 13-17 record. They play next when they travel to Sherrard for a non-league game on Monday, February 17. Rockridge will confront a Tigers team coming off a 50-30 league win over Mercer County (Aledo, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 19-5.

With the loss, Mercer County falls to 14-18 on the campaign.
