Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), 73-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Christian County upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign.

Next up, the Tigers play the Murray Tigers (Murray, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Caldwell County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-20 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 7-16 record after their 68-28 non-league loss to Graves County (Mayfield, KY).
