Massachusetts High School Basketball - Monument Mountain overwhelms Belchertown

The Monument Mountain Spartans basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Belchertown Orioles to 42 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they host South Hadley for a Bi-County - East game on Thursday, February 20.
With the loss, Belchertown falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Orioles host Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA) to confront the Red Hawks in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. The Red Hawks go into the game with a record of 6-6. Frontier Regional lost 69-43 in their recent non-league game against Taconic (Pittsfield, MA)
