The Itawamba Agricultural Indians triumphed over the host Smithville Seminoles softball squad by a count of 19-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians meet the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Itawamba Agricultural will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Golden Wave enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Nettleton (Nettleton, MS).
The Seminoles (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton (Hamilton, MS). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton overcame Saltillo (Saltillo, MS), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
