The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Newcastle Bobcats (Newcastle, TX) and the visiting May Tigers (May, TX), observed Newcastle's basketball team overwhelm May by a margin of 51-22.
The Bobcats (24-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Neches (Neches, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 21-7 record. In their last bout, Neches crushed Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX), 68-43, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, May falls to 22-10 on the campaign.
