The Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY) basketball crushed the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders (Pippa Passes, KY), 54-16 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (6-20) will now prepare for their test against Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 8-20 record. In their last test, Buckhorn was trounced by Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 54-48, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Breathitt County for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. June Buchanan will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 70-49 non-league loss to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 16-11.
