Michigan High School Basketball - Evart knocks off St. Mary

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Evart Wildcats basketball team scored a good 52-34 win over the St. Mary Eagles.
The Wildcats (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI). The Bobcats come into the Highland contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Houghton Lake was topped by Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 52-30, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 22. St. Mary will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Gladiators come into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 44-18 non-league win over Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI).
