The Toms River South Indians basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Liberty Lions to 55 in the Indians non-league victory on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wall Township for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Toms River South will battle a Crimson Knights team coming off a 66-56 league win over Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ). The Crimson Knights record now stands at 2-11.
The Lions (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 16-14 record. In their last contest, Brick Memorial was nudged by Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ), 41-40, in a non-league contest.
