In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sulligent Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 66-46 triumph over the Brilliant Tigers.
In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 6. Sulligent will attempt to move on its 21-1 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 11-14 record after their 59-49 non-league loss to Haleyville (Haleyville, AL).
With the defeat, Brilliant moves to 20-8 on the year.
