New York High School Basketball - New Paltz ripped by Valley Central

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Valley Central Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 60-39 triumph over the New Paltz Huguenots.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Valley Central will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Bushmen enter the match with a 6-5 record after their 58-23 league win over Middletown (Middletown, NY).

With the defeat, New Paltz moves to 0-13 on the year. The Huguenots travel to Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY) to meet the Dukes in a Section 9 Freelance match on Friday, February 3.
