The Ontonagon Gladiators tipped the host Johnston Speedboys basketball team by a final score of 38-31 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Gladiators face the Wright Red Devils (Ironwood, MI) in a Freelance game, on Tuesday, February 6. Ontonagon will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 10-6 record after their 53-31 league win over Wakefield (Wakefield, MI).

With the defeat, Johnston moves to 5-9 on the year. The Speedboys travel to Watersmeet (Watersmeet, MI) to face the Nimrods in a Copper Mountain - Porcupine game on Thursday, February 8. The Nimrods enter the game with a record of 6-9.
