The Hopewell Blue Devils basketball team (Hopewell, VA), dropped 63-55 in Friday's league battle with the host Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA)

The Warriors now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Dale for a Central battle on Tuesday, February 6. Matoaca will battle a Knights team coming off a 73-55 league win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Knights record now stands at 14-5.

The Blue Devils (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Crimson Wave come into the Central battle with a 8-10 record.
