The Conway Wampus Cats basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting North Little Rock Charging Wildcats to 65 in the Wampus Cats league triumph on Friday.

The Wampus Cats now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cabot for a 6A Central contest on Tuesday, February 6. Conway will battle a Panthers team coming off a 55-19 league win over Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 22-3.

The Charging Wildcats (20-4) will now prepare for their contest against Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR). The Gryphons enter the 6A Central contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Little Rock Southwest was defeated by Cabot (Cabot, AR), 55-19, in a league contest.
