Georgia High School Basketball - Wesleyan trounces Gilmer

The Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) basketball crushed the host Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 63-36 in Friday's league test.
The Wolves (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons go into the AAA Region 7 test with a 21-2 record. In their last test, Pickens walloped White County (Cleveland, GA), 78-54, in a league test.
The Bobcats now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to West Hall for a AAA Region 7 test on Tuesday, February 6. Gilmer will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 49-26 non-league loss to Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-19.
