The Stanley Blue Jays basketball team scored 36 points and held the host New Town Eagles to 34 in the Blue Jays league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Jays now sport a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunseith for a A Region 3 contest on Monday, February 5. Stanley will meet a Dragons team coming off a 58-21 league loss to Bottineau (Bottineau, ND). The Dragons record now stands at 3-9.
The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against South Heart (South Heart, ND). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, South Heart nudged Alexander (Alexander, ND), 67-8, in a non-league contest.
