The Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting York Cougars (York, SC), 36-19 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (2-20) will now prepare for their test against South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Stallions go into the AAAA Region 3 test with a 22-2 record. In their last test, South Pointe notched a victory over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC), 77-21, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lancaster for a AAAA Region 3 test on Tuesday, February 6. York will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 56-54 league win over Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 5-14.
