Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lebanon Yellowjackets (Lebanon, MO), 66-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Kickapoo upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Carthage (Carthage, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-14.

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the West Plains Zizzers (West Plains, MO) in a Ozarks bout, on Wednesday, February 22. Lebanon will attempt to upgrade on its 16-8 season record. The Zizzers go into the bout with a 18-5 record after their 72-30 league win over Bolivar (Bolivar, MO).
