In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mid-Buchanan Dragons basketball team scored a big 74-34 triumph over the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lone Jack Mules (Lone Jack, MO) in a I-70 contest, on Friday, February 21. Wellington-Napoleon will attempt to better on its 8-16 season record. The Mules go into the contest with a 9-14 record after their 84-50 non-league loss to Barstow (Kansas City, MO).
