The South Jones Braves basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host North Pike Jaguars to 43 in the Braves non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Braves now have a 30-2 record. They play next when they travel to Holmes County Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. South Jones will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 47-42 non-league win over Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 20-8.

With the loss, North Pike falls to 18-11 on the campaign.
