The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) and the visiting West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ), observed Hanover Park's basketball team edge West Essex by a margin of 39-37.
The Hornets (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions (Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. West Essex will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 49-27 league loss to West Orange (West Orange, NJ).
