Michigan High School Basketball - Comstock thwarts Maple Valley

The Comstock Colts (Kalamazoo, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI), 45-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Colts (1-19) will now prepare for their test against Marcellus (Marcellus, MI). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Marcellus notched a victory over Decatur (Decatur, MI), 46-28, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Stockbridge for a Greater Lansing test on Thursday, February 23. Maple Valley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 15-6.
