The Poquoson Islanders basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Greensville County Eagles to 39 in the Islanders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Islanders now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brunswick for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23. Poquoson will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-2.
