In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lakeshore Lancers basketball team scored a good 45-37 triumph over the St. Joseph Bears.
The Lancers (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Maroon Giants go into the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Kalamazoo Central was toppled by Gull Lake (Richland, MI), 44-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bears confront the Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 25. St. Joseph will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Beavers go into the contest with a 7-13 record after their 50-41 league win over Northwest (Jackson, MI).
