In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team scored a big 69-7 win over the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats.

The Stallions (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC). The Mariners come into the 1A Metro 8 contest with a 19-9 record. In their last contest, Jackson Day smashed Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC), 62-35, in a league contest.
