California High School Softball - Murrieta Mesa sneaks past Centennial

In Friday's non-league match, the host Murrieta Mesa Rams softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Centennial Huskies.
The Rams (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Monarchs come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Mater Dei nipped Upland (Upland, CA), 5-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Huskies confront the Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 25. Centennial will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Fighting Lancers come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA).
