The Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting St. Joseph Bears to 38 in the Maroon Giants non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Maroon Giants now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cass Tech for a non-league contest on Monday, February 26. Kalamazoo Central will meet a Technicians team coming off a 66-27 non-league loss to Renaissance (Detroit, MI). The Technicians record now stands at 12-10.

The Bears (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Beavers enter the non-league contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Harper Creek was defeated by Western (Parma, MI), 60-25, in a league contest.
