Georgia High School Basketball - Newton crushes Peachtree Ridge

The Newton Rams (Covington, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), 73-51 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Rams now possess a 19-9 record. They play next when they travel to Etowah for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 26. Newton will play a Eagles team coming off a 64-61 non-league win over Buford (Buford, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 23-6.

With the loss, Peachtree Ridge falls to 19-11 on the campaign.
