Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK) and the visiting Holdenville Wolverines (Holdenville, OK), saw Sperry's basketball squad hold off Holdenville by a tally of 55-51.

With the victory, Sperry improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wolverines confront the Little Axe Indians (Norman, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 24. Holdenville will attempt to improve on its 20-5 season record.
