The Harper Creek Beavers basketball team (Battle Creek, MI), was overwhelmed 60-25 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Western Panthers (Parma, MI)

The Panthers now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeview for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 27. Western will confront a Spartans team coming off a 38-34 league loss to Central (Battle Creek, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 6-14.

The Beavers (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, St. Joseph was overwhelmed by Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI), 58-38, in a non-league battle.
