The Crosby-Ironton Rangers (Crosby, MN) basketball crushed the host Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN), 55-30 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rangers (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Park Rapids (Park Rapids, MN). The Panthers go into the AA Section 8 test with a 4-17 record.

The Giants now own a 3-21 record. They play next when they travel to Greenway for a AA Section 7 test on Tuesday, February 28. Mesabi East will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 83-35 league loss to Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 2-22.
