The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX) and the host Belton Tigers (Belton, TX), saw Brentwood Christian's softball squad nip Belton by a count of 7-5.

The Bears now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shiner for a non-league match on Thursday, February 29.

With the loss, Belton falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lake Belton (Temple, TX) to face the Broncos in a 5A Region III District 22 match on Tuesday, February 27. The Broncos enter the match with a record of 10-3. Lake Belton won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Madison (San Antonio, TX)
