Virginia High School Basketball - Expression Prep Academy overwhelms Mountain Mission

February 24, 2025: Grundy, VA 24614

The Expression Prep Academy Lions basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Mountain Mission Challengers to 42 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now possess a 11-15 record. They play next when they travel to South Charleston for a Mountain State game on Wednesday, February 26. Expression Prep Academy will play a Black Eagles team coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Mountain Mission falls to 11-12 on the campaign. The Challengers travel to Bob Jones Academy (Greenville, SC) to play the in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 26. The go into the game with a record of 18-7. Bob Jones Academy won 60-45 in their recent non-league game against Palmetto HomeSchool (Greenville, SC)
