The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Brandywine Bobcats (Niles, MI) and the visiting Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI), observed Brandywine's basketball team knock off Central by a score of 56-41.

The Bobcats (20-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Norrix was knocked off by Gull Lake (Richland, MI), 53-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats encounter the West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Central will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 69-31 league loss to Rockford (Rockford, MI).
