The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Woodville Eagles (Woodville, TX) and the visiting Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX), saw Woodville's softball squad achieve victory over Trinity by a count of 19-1.

The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newton for a 3A Region III District 22 match on Tuesday, March 8.

With the loss, Trinity falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Friday, February 25. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 3-1. Nacogdoches won 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Trinity (Trinity, TX)
