Alaska High School Basketball - Palmer topped by West Valley

The West Valley Wolf Pack basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Palmer Moose to 28 in the Wolf Pack non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wolf Pack now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lathrop for a 4A Mid Alaska contest on Wednesday, March 1. West Valley will battle a Malemutes team coming off a 71-42 non-league win over Houston (Big Lake, AK). The Malemutes record now stands at 14-10.
The Moose (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Anchorage Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Lions come into the 4A Northern Lights contest with a 19-2 record. In their last contest, Anchorage Christian prevailed over Wasilla (Wasilla, AK), 76-52, in a league contest.
