Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), 15-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Dripping Springs for a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. Lake Creek will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Bowie (Austin, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Midland Legacy moves to 5-3 on the season. The Rebels travel to Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, March 1. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 11-6. Dripping Springs won 16-0 in their recent non-league match against Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX)
