Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) and the visiting San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), witnessed Palos Verdes's softball squad tip San Pedro by a count of 8-5.

The Sea Kings now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to South for a non-league match on Friday, March 1. Palos Verdes will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
