The Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) basketball felled the host Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE), 47-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Yutan (Yutan, NE). The Chieftains go into the non-league test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Yutan was beaten by Syracuse (Syracuse, NE), 46-25, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Aurora for a non-league test on Friday, February 4. Waverly will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 56-41 non-league loss to Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE). The Huskies record now stands at 4-14.
