The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) basketball crushed the host Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE), 58-34 in Friday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Palmyra (Palmyra, NE). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Palmyra walloped Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE), 82-39, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Diller-Odell for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Falls City will encounter a Griffin squad coming off a 55-35 non-league win over Lewiston (Lewiston, NE). The Griffin record now stands at 8-12.
