The Foley Falcons basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Pierz Pioneers to 44 in the Falcons non-league victory on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spectrum for a AA Section 6 contest on Monday, February 6. Foley will battle a Sting team coming off a 93-37 non-league win over Eagle Ridge Academy (Minnetonka, MN). The Sting record now stands at 11-5.
The Pioneers (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted/Holy Trinity (Howard Lake, MN). The come into the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted/Holy Trinity was defeated by Litchfield (Litchfield, MN), 66-63, in a non-league contest.
