Ohio High School Basketball - Westerville South can't hold off Hayes

February 3, 2023: Westerville, OH 43081

The Hayes Pacers basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Westerville South Wildcats to 44 in the Pacers league victory on Friday.

The Pacers now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dublin Scioto for a Ohio Capital - Capital contest on Tuesday, February 7. Hayes will battle a Irish team coming off a 53-43 league loss to Franklin Heights (Columbus, OH). The Irish record now stands at 7-11.

The Wildcats (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH). The Indians come into the Ohio Capital - Capital contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Canal Winchester was nudged by Westerville North (Westerville, OH), 70-33, in a league contest.
